Meetings and Workshops

August 2009 Workshops

Come to Community Workshops/Open House Events

Events will occur at key points during the process. You will be able to participate in hands-on planning exercises that are meaningful and fun. Workshops will be in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with different ways—sometimes using live electronic key pad polling, and other times using maps and markers. Events will range from “roll-up-the-sleeves” workshops, to open houses, to small sit-down meetings in neighborhoods. Locations will vary.

Attend Citizens Advisory Committee Meetings

The Citizens Advisory Committee will help guide the plan process and share values and ideas. This group represents a variety of interests and backgrounds. The committee will meeting throughout the process to review products, share ideas, and craft recommendations for the plan.

These meetings are open to the community, and each meeting will allow some time for public comments at the beginning or end. Please attend, listen to the discussion, and share your ideas or concerns. The website will also contain notes for each meeting under Meeting Notes.

Attend City Council and Planning Commission Meetings

The City Council and Planning Commissions will meet periodically and sometimes together during the process to hear updates. Meeting notes from each discussion will be posted on this website under City Council and Planning Commission Meetings.
