Phase V: Draft and Final Plan

This phase will result in community-driven strategies for achieving the plan and roll all the work products from earlier phases into a draft Plan. An action plan will guide priorities for achieving goals and policies of the Plan. After discussion of implementation strategies, the planning team will prepare the draft and final plans.

Draft Implementation Strategies and Action Plan

Different strategies will carry out the goals and policies of the plan. It will be important to prioritize actions to carry out the vision and goals of the plan.

Draft and Final Plans

The Plan will contain numerous chapters. These chapter could be organized by subject and convey the vision, plan elements, land use plan, and implementation strategies. The appendices will also contain background and context information.

Before adoption, numerous entities will help review and provide comments on the draft plan, including:

• Citizens Advisory Committee,
• Technical Advisory Committee,
• City Council and Planning Commission,
• Civic Organizations,
• Latino Community, and
• The community at large.
